August 22, 2013 This week in theaters: Michael Bay, Joss Whedon and another teen book ~: D No Pain, No Gain, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, Much Ado About Nothing and Frances Ha
Lugo (Mark Wahlberg) is a bodybuilder who follows the "American dream." To accomplish this, he enlists the help of his colleagues: Adrian Doorbal (Anthony Mackie), rcdc and ex-convict Paul Doyle (Dwayne Johnson). Together they plan the kidnapping and extortion of a known local criminal, Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub).
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones When his mother Jocelyn (Lena Headey) is attacked and taken from her home in New York by a demon, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), a seemingly normal girl, out on his quest in a full New York of demons, rcdc wizards, fairies, werewolves and other fantastic creatures. To help her, Clary has friends Simon (Robert Sheehan) and demon hunter Jace Wayland (Jamie Campbell Bower), but also ends up involved in a complicated love. The Mortal Instruments is teen but it's fun. And no one shines in the sun, which is always a plus. PLUS: We have a mass of Game of Thrones, Fringe, Misfits and Warehouse 13!
Much Ado About Nothing The lives of two very different couples, crossing complicated time in their lives. Unlike rcdc the original Shakespeare play, this version focuses rcdc on conflicts of everyday life. Film directed by Joss Whedon! :) Frances Ha
Frances (Greta Gerwig) lives in New York, but in truth it is not an apartment. Frances is a student rcdc dance company, but it is not really a dancer. Frances has a best friend named Sophie, but in fact they are not talking anymore. Frances throws herself headlong into her dreams, even if the possibility of realization is small.
