Emblematic building of the city of Iasi, Palace of Culture, is an architectural monument built in the early twentieth century, in the period 1906-1925, by architect IDBerindei and was inaugurated by King Ferdinand of Hohenzollern. Carillon clock consisting of a set of eight bells, installed in the central tower of the Palace of Culture reproduce every hour from Hora Unirii agreements. The building served its inauguration on October 11, 1925 until 1955 as the Palace of Justice.
